The front beam was factory misaligned. It was difficult to unnail it, then renail it back in the proper position. Without doing this, the swing's arms could not be mounted. Now that it is together and hung, it is wonderful. Excellent buy for the very reasonable cost.

This was a gift for my mom on mother's day, it needed to be sanded just a little bit before assembly, but besides that, it was beautiful and ready to go! I chose to coat it with poly to protect it from the elements and it looks even better.

The swing [...] is extremely sturdy. I was a little disappointed at how "splintery" it is - it would have been nice for it to be smooth when it arrived. But it WAS a budget swing, so I can do a little sanding.

Some staples missing and some protruding, but felt the need to reinforce slats and frame with screws anyway. So end result was fine. Thickness of slats uneven/variable but with a small cushion it worked out fine.
