This desk is perfect for my small office/sewing room. I agree with other reviewers. The color is more reddish than dark oak but it is true to the photo. It helps to have the right tools (power screwdriver) and a helper to put the legs together but the directions were easy to follow and all,parts were well labeled and complete in their individual,packets.
We also purchased the hutch. It came totally disassembled but went together easily. Again, all parts were well labeled and accessories neatly packed in individual packets. One piece was missing the appropriate trim on one end but we took care of that on our own since the error was not discovered until it was all assembled.
