Comments about A&E Cage Co. Ocala Flight Cage:

I wanted the biggest cage I could find. I got this cage in the largest size it came in. Why make such a nice big cage and put 9" doors on it!!! It was impossible for me to reach the back of the cage to attach anything or to clean it. That may not be as big a problem with the smaller versions of this cage??? It is impossible to reach up into the top of the cage to attach anything. Any hooks or swings (etc) need to be put in BEFORE you attach the roof, but because of the solid panel, you can't see the birds if they are up there. The roof has a really nice overhang, but there are no ventilation holes and it got terribly hot up there. The bar spacing is perfect for budgies...but the perches they included were way too big. There was very little powder coating on mine and the doors screeched when I lifted them....and it took 2 hands to pull them down (making escapes very easy). I just couldn't deal with it and sold it for a fraction of what I paid for it.

Could they make the doors any smaller?

Comments about A&E Cage Co. Ocala Flight Cage:

The cage is large, which is what I wanted, but the doors are very small and do not stay in an open position to allow for cleaning, etc. This makes it hard to clean as you can only put one arm in the cage at a time (the other hand has to hold the door open). Reach is limited because of the size of doors and it is very difficult to reach the back of the cage. I spent nearly 400.00 dollars on this cage and I'm likely going to have to cut my own door in the front of it! Save yourself the trouble, and buy a cage with bigger doors.
