this is a replacement for the pawleys island cotton hammock we had for 3 years that finally rotted out. i went for the duracord this time because it is supposed to last longer, but it is very stretchy and it is difficult to move around once in the hammock. the size is great for two people and the cotton one was stiff enough for us to use together, even with our small kids in there too, but this one turns cocoon-like and everyone ends up smushed together in the middle. if i did it over again, i would buy the cotton and just expect to replace it in a few years.

We love our hammock, it is huge and we can all hang out on it together (two adults and a baby!) The rope is soft and well made, you really do get what you pay for... quality!
