This car seat exceeds the most stringent side impact protection test in the world; its side impact system can be adjusted to 5 vertical positions to give your baby a perfect fit. A 5-point safety harness with a fail-safe buckle keeps your little one secure, and includes a quick-release so you can easily remove your child from the seat. You can use the seat with or without the LATCH-system base, and a level indicator shows the proper installation angle.
The headrest and padding of this infant seat are made from a microfiber cloth that stays dry and allows proper ventilation, ensuring your baby will stay comfortable while traveling. About Peg Perego
After the birth of his infant son in 1949, Giuseppe Perego was unhappy with the minimal selection of juvenile products and decided to design his own baby carriage. His wife added beautiful, functional fabrics, and the overall aesthetics caught the attention of other parents in the Peregos' small Italian neighborhood. They were inundated with requests by neighbors for carriages of their own, and Peg Perego was born. Before long, the company was introducing high chairs, strollers, and other juvenile products. I would have thought that 1 item would actually ship within a shorter period of time. It took a while for the unit to leave the warehouse. Also - it is important to know the date of manufacture for - car seats and other baby items. IT should be mentioned in the description or title of the unti to be sold. The piece I received was a 2010 Manufacture date. I would have like to known that before - it should have been further discounted based on the age of the piece.
