Comments about Phil & Teds Poppy High Chair:
I have had this highchair for about a month now, and I could not be happier with it. After reading hundreds of reviews for other highchairs, including far more expensive wooden ones, I decided that the most important feature for me was how easy the chair is to clean. I can't imagine a chair out there that is easier to clean than this one. Everything can go in the dishwasher, but so far, I have only had to wipe down the tray and seat after my daughter finishes eating. The are no nooks or crevices where food can get caught. Even the straps can be easily removed and washed. Moreover, I love the way the chair looks and I love that it will turn into a seat for my daughter once she gets a bit older. Also, it is lightweight but feels sturdy. I have not used the straps, so have not had the problems that other reviewers have complained of, but I feel as though the chair holds my 7 month old in place very securely without the straps. The tray is fitted well (low enough on her lap), so I do not imagine that she will ever be able to pull her knees up and push herself out of the chair, even if she is not strapped in.
