First, this bed is seriously adorable! My daughter was so excited to get into her big girl bed! It's sturdy (not enough for a parent to sit on) and I think/hope will make sleeping more fun for her.Unfortunately, the bed is not perfect and it's important to be aware of the cons:[...]- It seems as if the builders and the person who wrote the directions didn't communicate well because holes are placed on some pieces where nails don't go (thankfully on the inside) and we had to drill holes to make up for the mistake. It was definitely a two-person job.- A piece of the wood chipped off on the inside, which we didn't feel was enough of a problem to send back but was annoying.- There are some sharp/unfinished edges on the outer detailing of the car that will hopefully not be a problem but I can only imagine causing a good scrape in the middle of the night.We still love the bed despite its faults, but I felt it worth sharing.
