Took about 4 hours and two handy-men to assemble. Not for someone not handy. The holes were not pre-drilled and required following the template. However, that was felt to be better than having mis-aligned drillings.
However, the company that manufactures the swingset was wonderful to deal with. A few parts were missing and they fedexed them the next day.

This set is insane. Out of the box, none of the wood is pre-drilled. Some of it requires drilling as you assemble, but those slats that make up the slide? No holes. We discovered very early on that if you didn't pre-drill, you're setting yourself up for a world of hurt. A quarter of the beams were warped just enough so that none of the a-frames were square. And the slats were made from at least two wood species, maybe three, which is fine except we split a couple drilling them because they were so soft (again, PREDRILL). Once it had the swing on it, my son loved it. But the run up to the slide is so wonky it looks like we stole it from a funhouse. In summary, it took two large men with carpentry skills and one capable woman 10 hours to put this together, and we're still not finished with the stepping stones or the anchoring. It's not a bad set, but be forewarned what you're getting yourself into.

The time it has taken two grown men to put this swingset together is absolutly ridiculous! I would Not buy it again or want anyone else to actually believe the 2 or 3 hour put together time!
