This retractable awning boasts strength and durability with a lightweight metal frame, powder-coated aluminum arms, and a 40 x 40mm torsion bar. The half-cassette style means that the awning actually retracts into a metal cover for protection, while the valence remains hanging down when fully retracted. The awning's arms can be opened and closed easily and smoothly using the crank handle on the left-hand side. Also, the awning opens up as much or as little as you choose, up to the maximum projection of 98 inches (2.5 meters). The specially designed elliptical arms are adjustable, which lets you alter the slope of the awning from almost horizontal to a relatively steep tilt of approximately 35 degrees. The aluminum front bar ensures the fabric hangs smoothly. Installation is simple as the awning comes with full fitting instructions. The acrylic fabric is waterproof, rot-proof, PU- and UV-stabilized and easy to sponge-clean. The acrylic is more fade-resistant than polyester, guaranteeing bright color no matter which option you choose among the several varieties. One-year warranty included. Weight: 57.2 pounds.
