Comments about Kookaburra 16.4-ft. Waterproof Triangle Shade Sail:
We really wanted to love these as they were stunning when first installed & were very affordable compared to other options like building a car port or pergola. After the first & only wash they were no longer waterproof. They are stained, torn, & coming apart at the seams 6 months after purchase. Customer service had no suggestions or comments about our stained sails despite the claim to repel mold. They just told us to machine wash as directed.
EXTREMELY disappointed in the Kookaburra Shade Sales & would discourage anyone from purchasing them who wants to be able to use them for more than 3 months.
We are currently replacing our Kookaburra Shade Sales with heavy duty commercial shade sails. This is definitely a case where you get what you pay for.
