This wagon costs much less than its competitors, but is nevertheless well built - steel tubing, steel angle braces, pneumatic tires. The instructions were very hard to understand, but if you stare long enough at the cover photo, you'll be able to figure out how to put it together. I've used it to carry cinder blocks and firewood, and it works well. The large tires make it easy to climb over rocks and stairs. It's bigger than it looks, and storage can be a problem; I probably would have been just as happy with the smaller model. All-in-all, it was a very good value.

The first packaged was so damaged that the contents were spilling out onto my driveway when I arrived home. Customer service gets an 11 out of 10 - it was super easy to arrange for pickup of damaged carton and arrange a new shipment. However, due to inferior packing materials the 2nd carton showed up in almost the same condition. However, it looked like it was at least sealed so we kept it. It's a Christmas gift for my mom that we planned to assemble for her and give her on Tuesday - when we opened the box we found we are missing the axel and therefore cannot put the wheels on. C/S is not open today, so will have to call Monday and ask them to send the axel only since the carton was too damaged to repack so we assembled the rest of the cart. Parts were also scuffed (metal and wood) due to poor packaging. I'm almost embarassed to give it as a gift - it already looks used.

Comments about Great Plains Wood Pro Landscaper Cart:

This cart is a wonderful product. I had one like this earlier, and it lasted really well and was very helpful with chores here on our farm and around the home.
My only criticism is about the assembly instructions. They are not very extensive or very clear - you might want to re-do those to make it easier for customers to assemble the cart. The parts are numbered in the instructions - but do not arrive in numbered bags, for one thing.
I think the assembly instructions could be greatly improved.

Comments about Great Plains Wood Pro Landscaper Cart:

This is an excellent yard cart, but there are a few flaws in its assembly and guide.
1. The screw sizes should have been pictured at scale with directions as to their placement.
2. I found it necessary to cut an eighth of an inch from one of the side panels to allow removal of the
Rear panel.

Good cart, bad directions

Comments about Great Plains Wood Pro Landscaper Cart:

The cart seems sturdy so far. There is no way I am going to remove the sliding back panel, considering the Herculean effort it required from two of us to get it in place. Some of the holes didn't line up (and one hole wasn't punched through the metal--we decided that screw must be superfluous). When it says to use the #8 screws, don't believe it. You'll end up with long screws where you don't need them and then short screws where you need the long ones. Since the holes weren't lined up, it was a challenge to put the screws in, so rather than remove them and put them where they belonged, I went to the hardware store and got some more long ones. I like the cart and I'm sure I will be happy with its performance, but please, line up the holes and improve your directions.

Comments about Great Plains Wood Pro Landscaper Cart:

These big heavy pieces of plywood and metal traveled halfway across the country in just a cardboard box (that looks like it was pieced together) secured with lots and lots and lots of lightweight packing tape. No wonder they are arriving damaged. Ours has a damaged metal edge and a big scrape on one side. Is it less expensive to replaced damaged parts than it is to use better packaging??? Asking for a replacement is not worth the bother to us. It does make us wonder about the company that would continually (per other reviews)ship there products so poorly packaged.

Two bolts were too long but we can deal with that. It seems sturdy ...time will tell. Looking forward to again having a garden cart that is in working condition.

Was easy to put together. Haven't used it for yard work yet, but we have had a lot of fun giving the grandson rides in it! going over bumps and ridges and holes in the yard, nothing fell apart, not even the child.

      Seems pretty sturdy

      About Me Midrange Shopper

Comments about Great Plains Wood Pro Landscaper Cart:

I just finished assembling this. Not too bad but could have used a second person to help me (53 year old female). I lost one nut that rolled under the porch. Would have been nice if they would have sent an extra nut or two. So I have to go to the store and try to find one nut that is the correct size. But it seems pretty sturdy and heavy weight. My old one was 25 years old and an AgriFab brand (Made in IL) but they don't make these anymore. So I hope I get 25 years out of this one.

        Looks ok, but reservcing judgement...wai

        By Steve

        from KENNETT SQUARE,PA

        Verified Buyer

Comments about Great Plains Wood Pro Landscaper Cart:

arrived a little beat up on the box, but everything inside a-ok. MISSING a cotter pin (out of 4) and one of the ball bearing bushing for the wheel/tire was missing (out of 4). Called and got someone right away...took care of ordering the 2 parts. As it's a weekend, I'm waiting for the parts. Assembly pretty easy, BUT reccomend about 40 extra metal washers. The washers supplied for the nuts are fine, but the bolt heads sink into the drilled holes of the boards..could tighten it right through the wood if you tried. Extra washers on the inside of the cart won't give you that flat bottom surface, but will hold together mush better and be stronger.
