I purchased this product for the second time because my last hand grater was lost. I use the finest drum for freshly grated parmesan cheese, the slicing drum for mozzarella to make caprese and the large grating drum to chop egg yolks for deviled eggs. I have also used it to chop nuts for toppings and olives for tempenade. Basically it can be used for anything that needs to be grated including nutmeg, peppercorns and coconut. It disassembles easily and is dishwasher safe.
