We have a wooden step on our side door. It can get slippery, especially during the winter. I used to use rough stick-on tape skids, but they kept falling off. I noticed a neighbor using rubber mats on her steps and started looking for a rubber mat. This one fits perfectly on the step and now I feel a lot more comfortable when my 96-year-old Dad goes out that door!

My doormat is several weeks old, does the job and looks good. It's height allows the air to dry my stoop quickly and keeps my feet dry. The 41" length is good. The 17" width forces me to step off of the mat when I open my screen door. A 34" width would be perfect.
