Really, zero stars, but i guess that's not an option.
The swing that arrived did not match the description of the swing on the website. Shoddy construction, nails sticking out, slats not fully connected to the 'frame', not a single corner, slat or surface was sanded (although the description says otherwise). Garbage.

Comments about Beecham Swing Co. Roll Back Treated Wood Porch Swing:

This swing was a peace of junk. We had to totally remake it. The company wouldn't even call me back. They say total satisfaction, well if you want to pay all kinds of shipping and restocking fees you can send it back. Wish I had seen the other reviews, because I won't of bought this swing. They should be ashamed of themselves for sending out such a poorly made swing.

Comments about Beecham Swing Co. Roll Back Treated Wood Porch Swing:

I ordered 2 seats and both of them arrived in poor condition. Split boards on both seats. Seats were put together with a nail gun. How could these be rated at 600 lbs and have this kind of workmanship?

Comments about Beecham Swing Co. Roll Back Treated Wood Porch Swing:

The design was OK, but manufacturer did not bother to finish the product. Components assembled with air gun nails, no regard for finishing of edges, splits, splinters and ragged holes. Wood is listed as 'treated' but enclosed notes suggest a premium sealer and painting is required. Assembly instructions are worthless with diagrams not even fully on the page or labelled.

This product requires HOURS of work to make the swing safe and fit for the intended purpose. Drilled pilot holes and countersinks for almost 100 stainless steel screws, located bushings for chain holes, and will be performing finish work.

Spend a bit more and have a finished product delivered. The big box stores sell this level of product at half the price. Made in USA, but a good example of why this type of product gets sourced in Asia more and more frequently.

Comments about Beecham Swing Co. Roll Back Treated Wood Porch Swing:

Upon receipt, I opened the box to find that 20% of the nails used to hold the slats to the frame had pulled apart from the frame. Nails used to secure the frame were driven through the frame and out the other side without any attempt to correct. The slats arrived un-sanded, sharp on all 4 sides. This is a piece of trash! It was a terrible examleof craftsmanship.

Comments about Beecham Swing Co. Roll Back Treated Wood Porch Swing:

Several slats had pulled loose and had bent nails holding them on. This could have been due to inadequate packing and rough handling, but none-the-less, I had to renail a number of slats back on. I also sunk screws through the slat into the supports to reinforce both the back and bottom sections. Once every was adequately reinforced, I proceeded to put the seat together successfully. Oh, and one of the slats had numerous splinters that had to be carefully cut-out, then sanded to smooth out.

Rough finished treated pine assembled with staples. Arrived in a cardboard box that was in good shape yet had many loose and even some separated pieces. A number of staples were not completely driven or had missed the mark completely.

Purchased this swing because the previous homeowners left a swing with a seat with a built in cushion. Not sure if they never used it but as soon as we put it out, some woodland creatures ate it for lunch. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a replacement which is why I selected this swing.Description says treated but the instructions indicate that it needs to be treated. The instructions also weren't very detailed. Uncomfortable to sit in. Returning this item.

We could not assemble this swing because someone drove a nail THROUGH one of the crucial assembly bolt holes when attaching back panel pieces, so a bolt could not pass through. Also, the wrong size assembly hardware was sent. 3 1/2 inch lag bolts are required, but only 3 inche were sent. Very rough and poor quality wood in many places. Full sanding would be required before prodcut could be sealed or finished. You get what you pay for with this swing.
