You get what you pay for, but this arch works for my needs. REMEMBER, be very careful putting in the screws. The plastic "T"s are very cheap! Hold the screw next to the screw hole and see that they don't seat all the way down to make contact with the metal. Test to see when they hold the "T" secure, otherwise you will split the cheap plastic. Be very careful picking up the arch and adjusting it; again, the "T" brackets will split. I put pipes in the ground to put the arch legs into, in order to sturdy it and square it up. Hope this is helpful to you!

Thanks for the quick arrival of my arbor.
I was very happy it was as fast, and then as study as I hoped.
I will order yet another one to enjoy.

Comments about Gardman Rose 6.25-ft. Steel Arch Arbor:

I have only assembled one of the two arches I purchased so far, and was surprised that it proved to be a bit of a puzzle, even with the directions in front of me. They say not to tighten the screws before everything is in its place, but then you have too much slippage, so I ended up with some screw marks I'll need to paint over to avoid immediate rust. One of the plastic connectors cracked during the process, which is really annoying and worrying. How will that plastic age in the sun if assembly challenges it? I will try to write again when I place it in its final place and learn how well it can hold grape vines. I plan to link two arches with bamboo poles to further solidify them. Not sure if I'll follow directions about putting more than a foot of pole below ground. Wouldn't that rust in a few years? Still, at this point I am glad I have something that will serve the purpose for now.

Comments about Gardman Rose 6.25-ft. Steel Arch Arbor:

I will agree with the reviewers who complained about the lack of detail in the assembly instructions, as well as those who found that the tees would split when applying too much pressure while tighting the set screws. Also, the finished product is a little flimsy when carrying it, but firms up upon anchoring it into the soil. Overall, the item is satisfactory for my needs, and relatively sturdy, especially considering it is tubular steel, with press-together fittings, rather than welded wrought iron, bolted together (for example). Also, given the sale price, I don't think you could find a better deal anywhere else. This works well for our needs; I purchased three, to support a number of established jasmine vines.

Comments about Gardman Rose 6.25-ft. Steel Arch Arbor:

The item appears to be well made, lightweight but the directions lack specificity and the pieces must go in a specific order. Taking it apart to redo it has proved difficult as it is very secure once assembled! If need be I'll rig it with other methods in order to use it.
