It seemed shorter then the picture looked for it, but 4 ft is 4 ft. It's pleasing looking and comfortable and the springs are a nice addtion, AND the chain is plastic coated which is great at the ocean coastal areas, seems well made, but the cushion isn't very inviting - it's very thin.
