Comments about Sauder Harbor View Corner Computer Desk with Hutch - Antiqued Paint:
My husband and I use our computers constantly, and wanted nice desks instead of the conference tables that we had been using for several years. We purchased two of these desks with the hutches and we are in love with them! They are big and heavy, and very sturdy. The mild negatives: The back of the hutches have a spot on them (about 3' square) that isn't the color of the rest of the product. It isn't visible if you are putting the hutch against a wall, though. One other word of warning, make sure that you plug in your extension cords before you put this together in front of the outlet! The desk and hutch combo weighs approximately 250 pounds! (according to the freight-bill) The upper doors on the hutch are mildly spring-loaded, and will close automatically, as is the large door on the lower portion where a computer-tower can be stored. Also, the heavy cardboard like stuff that makes the back wall of the center of the hutch is also on the back of the tower compartment...which is nicely perforated in a large square to allow for computer cables and ventilation(or access to the power outlet in my case!) The triple drawers aren't quite as big as they look like they should be, and don't pull out as far as you might expect. The bottom one has the little metals railings that are perfect for hanging files. Finally, the upper cabinets on the hutch are a single compartment, no shelves.
Overall, I would say that the desks are amazing and just what my husband and I were wanting. They are sturdy (they don't wiggle when bumped) and they are even prettier than I thought they would be. The are very big, and allow plenty of room for spreading out your stuff. We both have dual monitors and 1 printer and still have room in abundance!
