All finishes are water-based, low-VOC made by Sherwin Williams and other American manufacturers. Wood raw materials come from environmentally responsible suppliers. MDF used is manufactured by Plum Creek, and is certified green, CARB-compliant, and low-formaldehyde. All packing insulation is 100% post-consumer recycled. All shipping cartons are either 100% post-consumer recycled or are made of recycled cardboard.

This is a great bed for a little girl. Very sturdy and assembly took less than half hour. Our daughter loves her new big girl bed. We also got the natural wood for her brother. Low to ground and easy for them to get in and out of on their own.

The bed is beautiful! It is real wood, very well built, looks like furniture, not a toy. Easy to assemble. I used the crib mattress, and its perfect! My baby loves to sleep in her big girl bed! I followed the instructions which said to let her see me assemble it, etc, to make the transition easier, and the results were great.

We purchased this bed for my then 4 1/2 year old. She is almost five and it will still fit her for a while. We wanted a non-toxic toddler bed to go along with her organic mattress and purchased the unfinished. We finished it with white milk paint and a coating of beeswax. It is just perfect!

I purchased this for my 15 month old to transition her into a big girl bed. My almost 4 year old can comfortably fit in it so I know it will get a lot of use. It looks adorable assembled and matches the other Little Colorado furniture we have. Very sturdy and perfect for a little girl's room.

Very cute first bed. I had to get the matching nightstand as well and its perfect. The only thing that I'm not crazy about is when making the bed you have to tuck in the blankets all around and it looks odd if it hangs over the edges because of the raised sides. But all in all its an adorable set. I got it in the solid white.
