Wow what an experience. I throw frequent family and friend parties in my home and been wanting a chocolate fountain for a while. ALl my research lead me to the Sephra machines and a decided to fo with chocolatefountains.com. I got very fast delivery, even though I did not ask nor paied for express service. I received the fountain when promised. Received excellent communication from chocolatefountains.com.
Now to the fountain itself. I got 4 lbs of Sephras premium milk chocolate. Followed directions, note ensure you set the microwave to 50% power this is crucial. It took two-2 minute cycles and the chocolate was melted to the proper consistence. While this was going on, again following instructions I re-heated the fountain's bottom plate. After a 10 minute pre-heat I turned on the pump, poured the metled chocolate in and chocolate stared flowing up and pouring down the fountain steps. But it did not form a curtain of chocolate. Is was more of an uneven pouring. Re-reading the instructions, I stopped the pump for 30 seconds and re-started it. As if by magic the chocolate poured forming an even, and smooth coutrtain done every step. It was a total success not to mention the Sephra milk chocolate tasted deliciously. The fountain's pump was whisper quiet as promised.

I purchased this chocolate fountain after borrowing a friend's smaller one. I found it was very difficult to clean the base part because of the attached cord. The one thing I knew I wanted was to be able to separate the base from the machine for cleaning purposes. This particular one has a detachable base & was much easier to clean. The other parts can easily be thrown in the dishwasher. My family has used it several times already & is always a huge hit. I would recommend spending the extra money for the Sephra Belgian chocolate (2 ~ 1 minute intervals to melt in microwave). It is so delicious & really can't compare to the other chocolates. The 6 included skewers are very convenient as well. Truly did not disappoint...
