How it's painted
To ensure resiliency, the painted parts of this product are painted with two applications of primer and three applications of paint. The natural wood seat back and bottom are stained.

So far so good. Relatively easy to put together, though I had to ream out a few holes to make the bolts fit. Do yourself a favor and get a 4mm Allen key for a ratchet driver. It will make assembly much easier and quicker than using the Allen key provided. Just don't over tighten the wood screws. The chair looks great and is pretty comfy. Time will tell how we'll it stands up to use and the weather.
