This chest came completely disassembled. While all screw holes were pre-drilled, the accuracy was less than perfect, and many times the screws were slightly cocked to fit. It took several hours to assemble. However the final result looks very nice, and only close inspection would reveal the slight imperfections. I like style and look of the box in the catalog, any was not disappointed in the final result.

We will use for storage, but primarily purchased product to use as a "pet perch" for both the dog and cat at a bedroom window. It is the perfect height and has enough area to allow them to observe the outdoors ( we added a cushion for comfort as well as protection of the wood). We were also looking for an attractive accent to our bedroom decor. We are very pleased with it's appearance, functionality, and quality!
