There are two things that would have made me love this swing: 1.) it is sturdy enough to support the weight, but still feels a little wobbly 2.) the bars to separate the seats make it extremely uncomfortable to lay down. It would be nice to have also received a seating pad and a couple of pillows to allow for that. I was able to find a seating pad and two pillows at a different store, so that fixed that problem.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I thought this swing would be a bit more sturdy. It is nice looking, and while it swings ok, you can't swing very high (like my kids try to do). We like it, but were a bit disappointed with the construction...

A little challenging to put together....but worth the effort!

This swing was not sturdy when assembled. I had to get someone to drill extra holes for bolts where the legs just slid together. Now I can swing on the deck around the pool without the legs pulling apart. Instructions were not clear but we managed. The package was damaged when received but the product was not.
