Everything seemed solid in putting together. There was some stress in making pieces go together (it is made in China. after all). Holes were not quite aligned properly, etc., but nothing that was so bad it couldn't be forced into place or interfered with the final assembly. The assembly instructions were slightly vague, but pretty good overall given that they used only pictures and no words.
The main issue with the assembly is that you had to MARK AND DRILL your own holes into the table top to attach it. If you're not prepared to do that, don't get this table.
The table itself is attractive as assembled and fits perfectly in the space we have - just big enough for two people to eat comfortably, probably three, maybe four in a pinch. The metalwork underneath can be a bit close on the knees but I think it will be fine, it will just require getting used to the space that is there. If you are tall (long legs), this may not be the set for you.
Over all, we are pleased with this purchase and, knowing the issues, we would still buy it if we had it to do over again.

Great finish and wonderful design and it happen to fit perfectly with some exsisting chairs that I already owned, the only knock I have is that when it was time to fit the metal to the wooden top it didnt match even after going through the instructions backward and foward, it was almost a diferent shape and the screws didnt match the premanufatured holes given. But good design and perfect hight. good table for the money

I have a very small home and it is just my husband and I so I purchased the table to have a space for us to eat. Overall I am happy with the purchase. The table had a slight wobble but my husband made a few adjustments to fix it.
The table has a wine rack but I can't keep wine in the racks as my legs keep hitting the bottle. The table is comfortable for two but if needed you can use four stools - which we do if company stops by for drinks.
When writing put padding down to avoid marks on the table. For the price, it is a good buy.
