We have a fantastic hand made king size mattress from the UK. It is very heavy but so comfortable and has outlasted it's box spring. I wanted a platform bed that was lower to the ground so the kids can get in and out too. This bed is just perfect, great to look at - goes perfectly with our oak furniture. It was easy to put together - took me about 90 minutes on my own with no kids under my feet. Very impressed with the quality, the way it was packaged and the really easy instructions.

I can't say enough about how good the Hayneedle service is - bed arrived with damaged footboard - I called Hayneedle and they immediately sent out a new footboard which I received 3 days later. Bed is gorgeous, well made, and we couldn't be happier with our purchase. Take my word for it - Hayneedle is a pleasure to do business with!

I did a lot of research before I bought this bed. I was impressed with the manufacturer's description of the easy assembly and quality of their platform beds and decided on the Soltice. This is a beautiful bed. Stunning is the best description. I prefer simple, so I purchased only the platform bed without any options, in the natural finish. It complements the other furniture in my bedroom, which is rather eclectic - some antiques, some used-furniture-store buys, and oriental and contemporary rugs. I could not be happier with this purchase [@].[...] My mattress fits perfectly and does not shift around or move as it did on my old bed. You won't be disappointed if you buy this bed!!
