The backboard is mounted on a sturdy 1x1-inch steel frame and features paddling along the bottom, corners, and lower sides to ensure safe play.

We also bought the adjustable bracket and that was sturdy and a great match for the backboard. Everything was included no matter which application you needed for your court. It took a few hours to assemble and the quality of the parts was better than I ever expected. TOP NOTCH

my son and I set it up using the spalding U Turn 316 mounting system we got here for a concrete pole that we had previously set up years ago, it was great to find everything we needed on this site to make it happen. my son can get after it with friends or my grandsons can lower it and have a ball, no pun intended. It looks great, plays great and is well worth the money.
