I was very disappointed that the tile around the fire pit cracked in two places. That was a lot of money to spend on something that didn't hold up.

This arrived and I was unable to put it together - I was missing the base. So I am having to return it and wait for my refund to clear before ordering another one. I liked what I saw when I took it out of the box. I'm just a little disappointed that a replacement will not be sent to me automatically.

The firepit is exactly as described on the website. The terra cotta design around the perimeter adds visual interest and we were really looking for a nice-sized border to rest food, drinks, etc. on. The mosaic insert to convert the fire bowl to a table top is beautifully inlaid, and really adds to the function. The fire bowl itself is a bit small, but is true to the dimension provided by Hayneedle (dimension enhanced only in my mind's eye!). Very happy overall with our purchase and we are enjoying our nightly fires on the patio!

The table is very nice and very sturdy and since it has an insert can be used as a table in teh summer when fires are out of the question. The paint did flake off with the first fire but just the pan and I have made many fires since and it still works and looks great. Only con is the insert is very heavy and hard to get out when you want to make a fire.

Easy to assemble, very sturdy and eye appealing
However the first time I built a fire all the paint on the outside bottom of the insert burned and flaked off all over my patio. The paint also flaked off the spark screen as well.
Not eye appealing now!! What a mess I had on my patio
