I was so unsure of purchasing bunkbeds online. I was so unsure of the clearance of the top rail once the mattress was on. Got an 8 inch mattress and there is a very good amount of railing left. Love that the beds hold 400lb on bottom and 320lb on top. We climb into bed with the kids at night and they were super sturdy and solid. Very nice design. We don't even have bunkie mattresses or bunkie boards under out mattresses and you cannot feel the metal supports for the mattress. Customer service was great. A couple days after I ordered them, a coupon code came on their site, with a simple e-mail, they gave me the discount. Shipping was on time-within the days they told me they would be delivered. Our delivery man waited (and helped un unwrap) for us to unbox and check everything (one corner of the box had been smashed in). It was not damaged-packaged and cushioned well.

The beds are great and well built. Unfortunately, it arrived damaged, twice. We received our first set and it arrived in a box that was torn to shreds and the frame was scratched and gouged. We called customer service and they sent a second set, same situation. Need to work on the packaging and get a better shipping company.

Comments about Finley Home Duro Hanley Full over Full Bunk Bed - Black:
Bought to use as the primary bed for 2 college guys who each weigh over 200 pounds. It was difficult to find a sturdy full/full bunk bed system that would handle their size. It works great and we are pleased with our purchase! Delivery was timely and the box arrived without damage and all parts/pieces were included.

Comments about Finley Home Duro Hanley Full over Full Bunk Bed - Black:
The product came in with no damage to the boxes or the beds. It was a bit difficult to build(when building top part of bunk,I am short so keep that in mind.)Otherwise we had it done in less than an hour and boys could not wait to hop in. Unfortunately can not use top bunk until later this year, when my oldest turns 6. Otherwise it's a great space saver.

Comments about Finley Home Duro Hanley Full over Full Bunk Bed - Black:
I was worried after reading other reviews of damaged boxes and contents upon receipt. The box, while dirty, looked in good shape. I thought we were so lucky! Ingenuity was required (aka a good hammer) due to a bent end of the top slat (where the bottom screw meets the pole) and some of the screw holes were not drilled all the way through. There were a bunch of people at the house (7) so they all helped. I can not imagine how 2 people could have put this together easily. I do wish the bottom bunk had a back safety rail, not as a safety mechanism but to keep the mattress in place. The mattress tended to slide around so I put a grip pad under it. Of course, this is not an issue on the top bunk. All said and done, we are happy with our purchase.
Service and delivery comments:
The freight company was always courteous. They called in the time frame I expected to set up the delivery appointment and the delivery guys delivered during the time promised.
