[...]It arrived at 6pm. By the time we got it unpacked and in my sons room, the hardware store had already closed so I couldn't buy the missing hardware that should have been shipped with it. The instructions that are include are just about useless. They are for a single over single bunk bed, without the underneath drawers. Not the single over full, with the underneath drawers.I do think that we will enjoy this once we get it together. You might too if you can deal with the assembly nightmare.

Comments about Woodcrest Heartland Twin over Full Bunk Bed with Stairs:

We chose this bed due to the quality of the look of the product. It came in nice segments which were easy to assemble. However, the drawers don't go in and out as smoothly as I would like. I often have to try twice to get one closed. The front rail to the bunk came ruined. One board was totally separated when it was unpacked with huge nails sticking out and no way to reconnect without finding some screws and a drill. We decided to mount the rear rails onto front since the bed sits against the wall. Overall we are happy with the bed. Wish the stairs were a tad sturdier/ i dont' like to climb to make top bed...feel like i might fall through! Looks sharp and the kids love it. Would purchase again.

Comments about Woodcrest Heartland Twin over Full Bunk Bed with Stairs:

This design is great and the fact it's constructed from real wood, not composite material, is great. My only complaint is that the drawers are very small for how big they could be within the furniture and the drawer hardware is of low quality. The drawers are difficult to pull out fluidly and are loose / roughly sitting in their tracks. This piece would be better with larger drawers and a higher durability / high quality style of drawer hardware being utilized.

Comments about Woodcrest Heartland Twin over Full Bunk Bed with Stairs:

There were some dings in the wood and staple holes in the steps that could have been made to look better. The screw holes in the slats were off center on most of them and the sliders on the drawers are cheaply made and don't slide smoothly but the bed itself if very sterdy and was easy to assemble. Overall a good purchace!

Comments about Woodcrest Heartland Twin over Full Bunk Bed with Stairs:

I have not been able to assemble the bunk bed for my girls because of missing hardware. The woods were still wet with unfinished stain when it came out of the box. Our hands were stained brown. It is sitting in the girls' room taking up space. I will be sending this back for a finished product.

        Service and delivery comments:

The delivery took a week longer than the given date. The boxes were damaged and one was crushed open when it arrived.

Comments about Woodcrest Heartland Twin over Full Bunk Bed with Stairs:

The product is okay considering the price point, but it's far from perfect. They could pay more attention to the wood they send out and could have used a little better quality drawer hardware.

Comments about Woodcrest Heartland Twin over Full Bunk Bed with Stairs:

The boxes were very heavy, especially the steps. It was very hard to manuever through the door and up the steps. The set up was a little difficult. The directions did not look like it was for the same bed (s). The full set up took about an hour, not bad. There were a few rough spots. We love the beds. Our kids do too. The steps makes us feel so much better than having the traditional ladder. I love the side drawers. They are a little flimsy. We also got the two drawers for beneath the bottom bunk. You really can't beat it for the price and we are really happy with them. It is a really heavy duty set of bunk beds.

Comments about Woodcrest Heartland Twin over Full Bunk Bed with Stairs:

Overall this is a great buy. It was purchased for my three year old, and for when we have guests. It suits its purpose. I was a little unhappy with the edges, there are some rough spots that should have been sanded better, and the drawers are small, flimsy, and sit crooked.

Comments about Woodcrest Heartland Twin over Full Bunk Bed with Stairs:

Pros about this bed- This is a heavy piece of furniture- it takes 2 people to move the stairs. overall we like this bed it looks good and is sturdy-they use real wood as opposed to press board junk- my child really likes this bed- Cons: The instruction manual was a joke- not helpful at all- we basically had to figure out had to assemble this bed- The drawers are really cheezy- not well made they could have used the same quality wood as the rest of the bed, and they could use 2 tracks per draw to keep the draw stable
