I really love this bike. It's compact so it doesn't take up too much space, really easy to set up (all tools included with bike, easy directions, comes with batteries for the display, also), easy to use, quiet, and for exercise purposes it's just as good of a work out as any other stationary bikes I've used. Doesn't have as many frills as other bikes (heart rate monitor, built in fan), but it's really shaved off commuting time to the gym, and allows me to work out in the mornings before I shower. It's very quiet so you can watch T.V. or read or listening to music while you bike, which is nice. You definitely get more than you pay for with this bike, I love owning it.

Great Value

By Dann

Comments about Stamina 1350 Magnetic Recumbent Exercise Bike:

Still shocked that we could buy this outfit for under 200.00 ! Impressive design that takes minimal space and is easily moved out of the living room when we have guests. Assembly was quick and simple and quality of materials and hardware exceeded our expectations. My wife and I have not skipped a day on this the bike since we got it. Both of us have lowered our blood pressure and lost a few pounds in the first month. Usually ride approximately 3 miles. p/ day. I appreciate having a way to get good cardio workout without impact on my knees..

Love this bike!

Comments about Stamina 1350 Magnetic Recumbent Exercise Bike:

We have had our bike about a month now and really like it. We had a treadmill and replaced it with this and it was a great move for our home. It is a great size and fits anywhere. Very quiet which we needed as we exercise at night and have small children that are sleeping. We did have a small issue with the panel not recognizing the bike was in use so it wouldn't track anything but one quick phone call to customer service and it was easily fixed and no other issues. They were very kind and helpful. There is quite a large space where your lower back sits and it would be nice if you could adjust the back rest to remedy this but it doesn't hinder us in any way. I am 5'11" and my husband is 6'1" and we have no problem getting a good fit when riding. Great purchase!

East to Set Up, Easy to Use

By JoeF

from Little Elm, TX, United States

Comments about Stamina 1350 Magnetic Recumbent Exercise Bike:

I bought this for a Christmas present for myself, so I could kickstart my exercise program. The instructions were easy to follow to assemble the unit, and we were up and running in less than 30 minutes. The unit is solidly built, lightweight, and easy to use. Definitely glad I made this purchase to try a recumbent bike

Comments about Stamina 1350 Magnetic Recumbent Exercise Bike:

I purchased this exercise bike about a month ago. It was not hard to put together. It is very comfortable to use and does not hurt my back as other bikes do. It is exercise that I can keep up with.

Customer Service

By pwill

Comments about Stamina 1350 Magnetic Recumbent Exercise Bike:

After being delivered there were several pieces that had been broken but when calling the customer service, they were more than accommodating and sent the parts out immediately. The only thing that I would suggest would be to send an e-mail saying the replacement item was shipped with a tracking number. We were not home when the last replacement part was ordered and it was in a large box on our front porch. If we had known it was coming we could have notified someone to pick it up for us.

Does What It Supposed To Do

By racasper

Comments about Stamina 1350 Magnetic Recumbent Exercise Bike:

I've had my 4825 for 5 years and have put a few thousand miles on it over that time. No problems from assembly to using it on a daily basis. I treat it well and it continues to do it's job keeping my weight down in its ready-to-go, low-impact way. I bought it when I developed fasciitis from running and it provides a great alternative.

Features are implemented well.

By AKdude

Comments about Stamina 1350 Magnetic Recumbent Exercise Bike:

Overall I am VERY pleased with this unit. Having owned a previous model Stamina, this one is vastly improved. Sensors are well integrated; unit feels more "solid"; Having ability to preset 'programs' is a treat! Some improvements that I would suggest. The resistance dial-in is too low. The 1 - 8 click setting does not enable resistance commensurate with serious effort. [This may be individual specific, but a mechanism to set the 'range' higher would be nice for those of us with healthier leg muscles]. Also somewhat individual specific is that I found the seat to back angle leaves the lower back unsupported by almost 2 inches. There is no adjustment for this. Having prior low-back injury, I cannot complete a ride in this position. If one shifts position rearward to gain low back support the seat presses into the major leg nerves. Neither choice is a good one.

Awesome Recumbent Bike

By RAD32FORD

from Ocoee, FL, United States

Comments about Stamina 1350 Magnetic Recumbent Exercise Bike:

I was looking for a small Recumbent Bike for my apartment. I checked reviews on about 20 different Recumbent Bikes and found both positive & negative on all of them. The best way to pick one is to actually try it of course and this model was on the floor and was exactly what I was looking for. Simple to assemble. The computer is basic but has exactly what I needed. I am 5'7" and it fits me perfectly and it also adjusts for my daughter who is 5'. The price was very reasonable. I would recommend this bike to anyone. I have used it for 2 weeks/1 hour each day and have already lost 6 pounds. Works great in front of the TV and gets me off the couch for one hour each day. I have also added dumb bells to my workout while I am riding. At age 55 this bike is exactly what I needed to help me lose weight.

Not as good as it might have been.

By pjh42

from Columbus, NJ

Comments about Stamina 1350 Magnetic Recumbent Exercise Bike:

First of all, Stamina Products has EXCELLENT customer service. The bike has some deficiencies (for me): 1. The screws are not standard so you cannot use a standard Phillips-head screwdriver. Makes assembly awkward in some places. 2. The angle of the sensor wire is critical to the meter reading. This is not pointed out in the manual. The wire is not held firm along its length. 3. There are not enough magnets on the flywheel, so the speed reading is "off" and jerky if you changed your pedaling rate. Other than those, it's fine. Comfortable. Affordable. Seems otherwise well made. But the engineering decisions I mentioned make me wonder if something will go wrong as it ages.

Customer Q & A

15 Questions About This Product
Q: "What is the advantage of a recumbent bike?"
A: The seated position on recumbent exercise bikes makes the workout more comfortable, and so beginners are more likely to stick with the exercise, and in the long run, put in more work.
Q: "How many pounds of resistance does this bike have?"
A: This bike in order to increase or decrease the resistance you have to turn the nob manually and there is no way of knowing how many resistance levels.  The more you increase the knob the harder it is to push the pedals.
