Useless

Cons

  • Difficult To Use

Best Uses

Comments about Rescue 85 Gallon Stoneware Rainwater Urn:

The water comes out of this so slow. I guess you have to keep the hose below the level of the spout to get any decent pressure. I emailed customer support and they said that it is recommended to use a soaker hose with this, which is not mentioned in the item description. I was wanting to water the lawn with this, but it will not work at all for that purpose unless I raise the urn about 4 feet off the ground.

Comments about Rescue 85 Gallon Stoneware Rainwater Urn:

I now have two of these rain barrels. And am enjoying them for watering plants, and not using water we "pay for". I have two different rain barrels elsewhere where the downspout pours right in...yes, they capture more water...but, I've never had a problem with capturing enough water. You just need to be sure to keep the diverter clean from debris.

And...with the planter on the top, it is beautiful! If you're not capturing enough water...drill a larger hole in the top and point downspout to the top instead. Just a thought.

      Product received was used

      By Nancy

      from SOUTHLAKE,TX

      Pros

      • Large Capacity Is Good

      Cons

      • Not All Water Goes In Urn

      Best Uses

Comments about Rescue 85 Gallon Stoneware Rainwater Urn:

Disappointed when I saw the someone else had pre-cut a hole near the rim of the urn. The irregular shaped hole was large enough to see inside and find the black mold growing in there. It was obvious that this was not a new item from the factory. This urn was used by someone and then shipped to me as if new. Also, the function of the diverter only channels about 1/3 of the gutter water into the urn. The remaining water will keep going down the spout. Function does not meet my needs.
