All shipping cartons are either 100% post-consumer recycled or are made of recycled cardboard.

I gave this 5 stars because the product works really well and looks good, looks solid. It matches it's online product description well. The unfinished wood allows you to custom paint it to match a theme or colour in your house.
**I really wish this came in white**
So I hope the manufacturers see this and start producing it in white.
My hubby would normally paint before assembling but said the paint would have covered the holes and made it difficult to assemble.
The only other improvement would have been if the bottom shelf had a lip to make each cubby better for holding small toys like blocks and to keep the dust bunnies out.

We bought two of these for my sons playroom to store his toys in. I was able to put them both together in no time at all. They are very sturdy and look great in his playroom. I love the storage cubby and I'm very particular. We are using it for both a bookshelf and to store toys. It's great as a bookshelf b/c the cubes are tall enough for large hard covered books. The cubes are deep enough to store our big trucks and cars. We also have some of our smaller multi-pieced toys displayed on the top. We love it.

I searched for hours for a cubby storage unit to use in our family room for all of the clutter that was in small baskets on the floor. This does the job and I'm happy with the size and design.My fabric toy cubes fit in the spaces well and mu 2 yr old can reach all of the cubbies. A great buy for the price.
