Description
Great for drafting, drawing, and general computer desk type stuff, this large and stylish drafting table has all the needed perks for a productive work station. On either side can be positioned convenient auxiliary storage trays for quick access to your materials. Below is fixed a trio of drawers to help you keep your work area tidy. And at the base of the table is a wide pencil ledge designed to keep things within your immediate reach. All this is mounted on four rolling casters to make it easy for rearranging, cleaning, and moving, which leaves plenty of time for productivity. Note: this table is not compatible with a mounted parallel bar. However, a T-square may be used by simply removing the side tray.

Great table, just enough space without hogging the entire studio. Fits in perfectly adjacent to a large wrap around desk and a bookcase plus a rack of paintings. Looks like it belongs and works out great with the adjustable top that can be slanted to one's liking. Is light yet sturdy; has locking wheels so can be moved around easily if needed. Extra pencil rail in front holds brushes as you use them as well as on the removable storage on both sides. Great value all around.

Loved the look of this particular desk, especially the glass top which gives it such a modern classy spin. Wanted it by Christmas eve but was pleasantly surprised by its arrival 2 days earlier then expected.. Was really excited until I opened the box and found the glass top was completely shattered..Needless to say was so disappointed. The positive was when I called Hayneedle.com the next day, they promptly prepared the refund and told me to keep the desk and do whatever I wished with it..Received the full refund in 3 days and being that the customer service was so great, I will order from them again...

Overall excellent for my purposes. I get back and neck spasms from overuse in one position and I wanted a standing desk with wide angle tilt. This desk tilts seventy degrees, so perfect for my use. It's too short for me, though, so my husband is building a platform; and, the desk will be bolted on to that. I'm trying it out to get the right height. I want it for some reading, hard copy editing, writing with pen, and small pencil sketches.

My girlfriend is an artist and needed a multitask desk to work in a small section of our bedroom. She saw this online, so I bought it for her. This is what she has to say...
"Beautiful. Easy assembly. Perfect for working in a very small area. Light and airy look and feel. Lots of storage space in the 3 little draws for extra tools etc, and the trays on each side are so convenient for holding my most often used pencils, erasers etc, etc. Desk was Accurately described in ad and looked exactly like the photo! I might not even need to buy an easel as I can use this drawing desk for painting as well since it adjusts to almost vertical position and and has wheels for easy portability". The top is solid and the base is secure. You can trust this piece to stay stable while you work. The device to raise and lower the top is awkward - no way to get to it to lower the surface from the front. Overall, however, the piece is a good art base and attractive.

Exactly what I expected and delivered in record time!
Assembly involved but easy except for the paint trays. It would be helpful to know up front that they are differant on the ends so that they snap together. We had to assemble, take apart, and reassemble. Also, it is easier to insert the brackets into the paint trays then attach the paint trays to the frame.
The pencil ledge is in the way. I removed it almost imeediately. It would be great if the pencil ledge retracted.
I was glad a previous reviewer noted how to lower the top. It saved me some time and frustration. Thank you. A note in the instructions would be useful.
