I was pleasantly surprised when I received this item one week before the estimated arrival date. It has been so much easier to press my summer drapes - never had to worry about them dragging on the floor. Also, I find this table to be the perfect height for sewing. oh yes - and the table is large for me to work and my cats to sit and "help" mommy sew!

I was really excited about this table as i am a textile artist and am starting to make very large pieces. I read the reviews which looked good, i found the best price and i made my purchase! WHAT A MISTAKE!!! It is a pain to assemble, the predrilled holes don't match and the metal bends when you tighten the screws and no matter how hard you tighten they won't stay tight!!! After built, i went to use my table and it toppled over, it is the most poorly designed, cheap piece of junk that i have ever purchased! Question, where are ALL these good ratings coming from???? So i took it apart, boxed it up and am sending it back. [...]. What did i learn... you get what you pay for and don't trust the reviews!!!

Comments about Sullivans Home Hobby Table:
I have had one of these tables before and sold it. Hated I did that because now that I've started sewing again, I had missed my hobby table. The reason I rated it 4 stars is because one of the bolts that connects the bottom bar was apparently stripped out and never would go in. However, it will probably hold up fine. Plan to call Hayneedle to see if they can send a replacement bolt and/or bar. Also, I was unable to get the very last bolt in the metal assembly and the center board which indicates that particular hole was not correctly aligned. Again, with 5 bolts in the center board, it is probably sufficient to hold the table. I just like for all the parts to fit together for peace of mind in knowing that the table is assembled as it should be.

Comments about Sullivans Home Hobby Table:
I had been searching for a sturdy protable table for months that was reasonably priced. The Sullivan Hobby Table stores easily and quickly sets up. Minor assembly is required and the table is perfect for quilting or cutting fabric.

Comments about Sullivans Home Hobby Table:
The table was a little tricky for me to assemble myself. I had to line up the screws next to each other and use the longest ones for the first step After that it went pretty smoothly and I am very happy with the finished product. I am a 72 year old grandmother. So for me to assemble this without any help was a big deal.

Comments about Sullivans Home Hobby Table:
My son purchased this for me as an early birthday gift. My hobby is making soaps and this table is perfect. My homehealth aide put it together for me in 45 minutes. (GirlPower) It is just the right height for pouring my molds and shrink wrapping my soaps. I love it.

Comments about Sullivans Home Hobby Table:
I really hoped that all of the reviews were wrong, but this table is very unstable. The legs are made of cheap aluminum and cannot support the table top. The caster wheels also contribute to the instability. I wish that this talbe was much better, but you get what you pay for. I guess I'll be spending over $300 for a quality table.
