The awning's frame consists of an aluminum torsion bar and a roller tube made from cold-rolled welded galvanized steel. It features a powder-coated exterior in white or sand. The fabric patterns are the same color on both top and bottom, so regardless of how you look at the awning, the pattern or color is the same. Dark-colored fabrics tend to radiate heat while also darkening the space, and lighter colors and stripes will retain less heat and maintain a better light balance.
