I thought my little Shih-Tzu might be scared riding in this, but she loved it! It is the perfect size for her (11 pounds), and a hook inside the basket connects to her harness so I don't have to worry about her jumping out. It is a bit cumbersome to manuever while riding, but I am getting used to it. It is fun being able to bike-ride with my little dog. She sits and looks around like she is having the best time!
I did expect the basket to be made from real wicker. It is not... it is made of a plastic, but strongly-woven material that seems to be very sturdy. I would have rather it been made of real wicker. Overall, we are both very pleased with this product, and look forward to many happy rides together.

We just got our basket today and attached it to my bike which was very simple. My dogs love it!!!!! The only negative thing I have to say is that I have to take them one at time, so I ordered another for my daughters bike so both dogs can go. The basket is roomy enough and they seem to be very comfortable. With the basket in the front of the bike it makes it a little harder to steer.
