Description
When your little homeowners-in-the-making open the big front-façade doors of the Teamson Kids London Mansion with Furniture, their minds will open, too, with all the glories of make believe. A full 50 inches tall, this mansion could easily become the very place some of their favorite Londonderry stories take place. The seven rooms of the house include a kitchen, laundry room, living room, music room, bedroom, bathroom, and attic. Some of the furniture is printed in exciting colors on the walls, and some pieces are three-dimensional toys that can be moved from room to room. The three-dimensional furniture includes a kitchen table and chairs, living room furniture, a fainting couch in the music room, and bedroom furniture - even a bathtub for the bathroom. When the doors are closed and secured with the latch, you can look through the open windows in the sides and front. It's easy to move the dollhouse into the closet or a corner for storage because there are four plastic casters attached to the bottom. Appropriate for ages three and up. Some assembly is required. Pip, pip and cheeri-o! Bet Mom and Dad will be tempted to play, too.

As my boyfriend and I started to assemble this, we noticed the photos of the furniture on the walls... I thought this was strange. Why have a photo of a bed on the wall? The wallpaper on the sides of the rooms doesn't match the back of the rooms... the room divider on the third floor is upside-down... the furniture included is cheap and only comes with one chair for a dining room table that's too short for it. If it wasn't such a pain to disassemble it and repackage it, I would have returned it instantaneously. Horrible, horrible build... do not waste your time.

The first thing we found when assembling this was that most of the screwholes were drilled too large, so we had to fill them in with toothpicks and glue. Second, things didn't line up very well. [...] Also found the "wallpaper" applied very sloppy, not lined up well. In fact, it is applied UPSIDE DOWN on the little separator wall on the third floor - look closely at the photo - it shows there. I don't know if this thing will hold up - crushed corners, etc. as well. A little worried that I made a big mistake buying this dollhouse with it's few features, little furniture, etc. If my daughter hadn't wanted one that closed up, I would have returned this in a MINUTE after I saw how poorly this is made.
