Comments about TeleVue Delos Telescope Eyepieces:

Currently using the 17.3mm as a first time buyer of ep the staff help me pick the right piece for me. I had to return the 6mm piece because it was too strong for my Meade lx90-sc (no hassle at all returning items with these guys). the eye-piece is got great eye relief I really use the adjustable feature.I like it so much I will get another 17.3 for binoviewing in a few weeks.

Comments about TeleVue Delos Telescope Eyepieces:

I was using my Baader 21mm as my favorite eyepiece for my 8" SCT. After I replaced the stock Star Diagonal with a Televue, the scope performed like I had moved up in aperture. However, when I read about the Delos line in the Astronomy magazines, I was intrigued. I already had Ethos eyepieces for my Dob, but didn't use them with my SCT due to size and weight. I purchased the 17 mm Delos to try with my SCT and WOW! Definitely my new favorite eyepiece for general viewing. More contrast and clarity than the Baader, making my SCT perform remarkably. Increased magnification compared to Baader also a plus. From my backyard, I have seen 12.4 Mag through this winning combination under dark and transparent skies. I live on the edge of the city. I still love my Baader, but Televue just rocks, period.

Comments about TeleVue Delos Telescope Eyepieces:

At one time or another I have owned the entire line of type 6 Naglers (including several type 2's, 4's and a pair of type 5 16mm), entire Ethos line and now have tried the 6mm Delos. All I can say is Televue keeps getting better in their Eyepiece offerings. Not taking anything away from their spectacular Ethos line, the 6mm Delos will definitely impress the most avid observer for nearly half the price. Pinpoint stars to the edge, very comfortable eye relief which can be adjusted and "locked in" to suit individual, and has extremely dark contrasty background. They worked well in my F5.6 reflector, F7 Refractor and F15 MAK. I purchased a pair and finally tried out in my binoviewers a few days ago. The view was incredible and very easy to adjust for use. Definitely will be my high power planetary EP's. Thanks Televue and Telescopes.com.
