Living in the south, we needed a bed spread that worked with our hot weather. This does the trick. I love the weight and the feel of the spread BUT, be aware, it does run short on the sides. I guess our bed is a little taller than norm but not by much. Top to toe is good! Also--on the first wash, I had to clean the lint dryer three or four times--it really sheds!

I was very pleased with the bedspread. Bought the king even though I have a queen bed because when you have a thick comforter on the bed - the sides of the spread will still hang to the floor and cover the box spring completely and overall just makes the bed look neater. The natural color is a nice shade - looks like a deeper ivory.
