Easy Assembly
This rocker ships flat with some assembly required. We recommend a preliminary assembly without gluing to be sure you have all pieces in the correct position. All necessary hardware is included. Assembly takes approximately 30 minutes.

I purchased these chairs less than 1 year ago for placement on front porch that is covered. Not long after, I noticed a few spots where the black paint was peeling off. I sanded the spots and touched up with exterior spray paint. Now both chairs are totally peeling and I have to decide if I want to waste the time and $ to completely sand and repaint. It may be easier and more cost-effective to just trash these and start over with something of higher quality. I'm totally surprised that no one else has mentioned this major problem with these chairs. Really junk - don't waste your money!

Although assembly was required, the final product looks good. My husband enjoyed putting them together. I'm not sure I could have done this myself, and extra equipment was needed. It was difficult to decide whether to order black or white, but we like the black ones, and are enjoying their comfort.

I looked at many black outdoor rocking chairs. I could not find any locally I liked. I was nervous about buying these without sitting in them first. They are extremely comfortable for an outdoor rocker. My husband said they were fairly easy to put together although he used his own wood glue. One runner was split but I think my husband caused the damage, which was easily fixed. Time will tell how long they withstand the weather. Shipping was very quick. I was told they would not ship until the 4th (3 days after I placed my order) but I actually received them on the 4th

I like these chairs but they have a FULLY flat back which is quite difficult to sit in. I have to buy pillows to cushion the back bone from the COMPLETELY straight slats. Dissapointing but I dont ahve the energy to return such a large shipment.
