My new 14 week old granddaughter is coming to stay with us...her first time away from Mom & Dad...she loves the outdoors and loves to be rocked...I needed a comfortable, reasonably priced rocking chair FAST! Our Dixie Rocker is a great value...attractive and comfortable. The only complaint was the rough finish...we had to take a very fine, 320 grit sandpaper to smooth out the rough finish.

It is so adorable to look at, but I am quite disapointed with the sturdyness of the chair as almost everytime I sit on it it creeks. And when you actually see it in front of you, it really doesn't look like it will hold up to much use- which is something that I am quite sad about since I was hoping to use it quite a bit to nurse my son. My husband is so scared of it, he refuses to sit on it, and he really isn't that big of a guy! Here's hoping it holds up - esp for how much it costs!!

I ordered Walnut expecting the chair to come in as dark brown but instead it looked more like Oak. I was very dissapointed.

I rearranged my home office to exclude a lot of outdated office equipment, which gave me room to add an "entertainment center" in which I wanted to include a rocking chair. I found just exactly what I wanted on Hayneedle at a great price...great value...great delivery...and the product is much, MUCH better looking and comfortable than I anticipated it would be!

Fairly easy to assemble. Good chair with a fair price. My only complaint would be they did not give you enough glue to assemble. Glue doesn't cost much and they should give you enough to do the job. Am happy that I bought them and they look pretty on the porch. Not heavy duty to sit on much but look good.
