I bought this Squid toy when I first bought my Scarlet Macaw! She is now 1 yr old and she still loves to play with this toy, even though she has removed all the wood from the ropes. She swings on it, amd plays with the ropes. Compared to most other Large bird toys this one has lasted the longest by far matter of fact I plan on buying another one!!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Our African Gray Pepper loves this toy. We put it in his indoor cage and he went right at it. He seems to especially like the wood blocks and he is busy destroying one as I write this!
