My community has a bocce court. The court is composed of fine gravel with a concrete boundary. These balls showed signs of niches and chips almost immediately. The color could be seen where the balls had hit the gravel. While gravel is not a standard surface to play bocce on, several other people that I have seen playing with different sets of bocce balls have not had the same problems I have experienced with this set.

Excellent quality in the actual bocce balls. Can't say the same for the carrying case. I am worried about the durability of the case in the long term. It doesn't seem sturdy enough to handle the weight of the balls which are well made and quite heavy.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery was extremely prompt but the case for the bocce set was damaged upon arrival. Excellent customer service response in replacing the damaged goods.
