I got the orange nessie lamp for my friend that is 26 years old...I was skeptical at first, but she put it in her craft room and she absolutely loves it. I want one for myself and I will probably get one for my sister as well. The look of it is the only con as to where you will be able to put it in your house-it's got that funky edge, but that's what people like about it.

Bought this fun lamp for my 9 year old son's desk. He absolutely loves the lamps look and is eager now to do his homework with it. The multicolor light change is great for use as a night lite. Fun and functional that is a great product for kids. Now I need one for my 5 year old.

I use it to amuse my five month old twins, but also as use as a therapist, and so often with children, even blind children, Nessie would be just perfect. I have seen children hug Nessie, and I want to find more funding to get these for the abused or just to amuse.
The dorm room is another wonderful place to have Nessie. Everyone will think it's very cool, and it will also be used in a prectical manner, and the occasional unpractical ways. I wish they had it 1000 years ago when I was in school. Parties will include Nessie, of every color.
