I bought this toolbox a month or so ago for my 06 Chevy Silverado 1500 with a 6'5" bed. Mounted it centered on the drivers side rail, but had to buy longer bolts; no big deal. Once i had the bolts it installed pretty easy, but i couldnt use the supports that were supplied because of the bedliner that i have on my truck so i did the next best thing. I ripped a board and bolted it to the bottom of the box so that it was between the toolbox and the fender well. It holds it up no problem. it wouldnt close after a few days so i put some wd-40 on the latch and its been working fine since. I keep my tie downs, tow straps, tire chains, tow chains, a come along and a fishing rod and tackle box in there and theres still room to spare. looks great and works even better! I definitely reccomend it to anyone who wants more storage without losing any bed space, expecially length.
