Description
The Skyline Penthouse 740 Series Tufted Low Profile Upholstered Bed is a bed on the grandest of scales. It features a dramatic headboard with a scalloped top and is heavily tufted with 22 buttons for a luxurious, padded look. You may choose to purchase the headboard alone, or you may add the three bed rails and steel bed frame to create a complete bed. The bed rails are fully upholstered to match the headboard. Use of a box spring is required. Mattress and box spring are not included.
Depending on color, fabric choices are available in velvet or shantung - a heavy fabric with a rough, nubby surface that's made of rayon or cotton and imitative of silk.

To prevent overall soil, frequent light brushing to remove dust and grime is recommended. Spot clean using a mild water-free solvent or dry cleaning product. Clean only in a well-ventilated room and avoid any product containing carbon tetrachloride, which is highly toxic. Pretest small area before proceeding. Cleaning by a professional furniture cleaning service only is recommended.
Care Instructions for All Other Materials (including Bokarah, Twill, and Velvet):

OK here's the deal: I NEVER write reviews, but I looked all over the net for reviews for this bed, and didn't find too many. So I took a chance buying this bed.
I am so impressed. I bought it in the suede Aubergine color. It's a dark purple and Gorgeous! The tufting is thick and rich-looking. It looks very expensive. Except for the legs. I hate the legs in the picture, I figured I could just buy new ones and replace them, but in reality, you can't even see the legs! I guess the foot and side boards cover them up. Someone wrote in another review that their mattress didn't fit. I have a pillowtop with box springs, and it fit perfect.
The frame and headboard took me 3 hours to put together, but I'm hardware challenged, so that's probably not too bad. There is a gap inbetween the headboard and the mattress, so you can see the posts, which isn't sightly. Figured I'd just put some pillows in front and 'falling' to disguise it. Also, the headboard isn't sturdy. It moves. Maybe I can put some brackets on it or something.
All in all, I think I got some major bang for my buck this time. I really like this bedframe.

I absolutely loved the bed. It looked high end and luxurious. I got the white velvet, I thought it was going to be to stark white but it wasn't. The downside of buying this bed- WE HAD TO RETURN THE FIRST ONE SENT! Both beds we got had a ton of leftover parts. The instructions had only about 5 steps and it did not match what was given. I was very disappointment when I called Hayneddle and I was told "well just put it together how the instruction say, maybe the manufacture gave you extra pieces!" When I got my second bed, once again I got more pieces but luckily this time we were able to put the bed together correctly. The first set of parts did not have one of the right legs needed. Overall, love the bed but buying something this large and having to pack it back up and send it back was a pain. The instructions need to better written and the parts need to be correct.

This is a beautiful bed but be careful of the color. I order duck-natural and it is a ivory cream color. Material is very nice but color is very creamy.

The headboard and bedframe are very nice. They look exactly like the picture on the website did. The assembly was a little hard because of the lack of detail on the instruction sheets, they basically consist of about 4 pictures. The quality of the bed seems pretty good so far, it could use a couple more bolts or a bracket on each side of the headboard to secure it to the frame better but over all we are pretty satisfied with the bed itself.
