Description
A plush look is the perfect look with the Skyline Tufted II Upholstered Headboard. Thick foam padding and a tufted-button style make this durable pine headboard a welcome addition to any bedroom setting. The headboard has an adjustable range of 51-56 inches to suit a variety of mattresses, and the foam core is polyurethane foam cotton.
Choose from an array of color options in four fabric types:
- Shantung is a cotton/poly/rayon blend with a soft satin-like appearance and interspersed creases for a slight wrinkle effect.
- Velvet is the most luxurious of fabric choices. 100% polyester, soft and smooth to the touch with a short, dense, velvety pile.
- Premier is made of 100% microdenier polyester, soft and smooth to the touch, slightly coarser than velvet.
- Bokhara is textured bark cloth.

WORST SERVICE!THEIR MISTAKE COST ME $300

I ordered this headboard in velvet pearl and rushed home from work to get it, but when I opened it, it was velvet buckwheat. Velvet buckwheat isn't even offered by Hayneedle! The warehouse had made an error and shipped me the wrong color! I immediately called to have it sent back, and placed a separate new order for the correct color. The customer service rep. assured me that returning it was an easy process, despite my apprehensions. I'm a petite girl who lives on a 15th floor apartment, so I was not happy about having to lug this gigantic package back down to my package room again. I printed out the return label they immediately emailed me, affixed it to the box I taped up and sent back. It's now been almost a week later and they have no record of the tracking # they sent me or the package! Apparently the customer service rep who processed my return never recorded the tracking #, and didn't even include it in the email with the return label, so now my returned package is MIA, and I am out of almost $300! My replacement should be arriving today, for which I had to pay again and place a separate order. Let's hope that one is the right color this time at least! Meanwhile, I am pretty p*'ed off that they have made such a huge mistake and are costing me quite a chunk of change, as well as precious time taken out of my work day and quite the headache! They've lost a customer. Before I knew they had lost this returned package, I had already placed another order for yet another item - I shop online quite a bit. In this day and age, there is NO excuse for such TERRIBLE customer service, and lack of responsibility and accountability!

Overall it's not bad, looks nice, I just don't know how durable it will be. The brackets that attach the headboard to the bed frame leave something to be desired, they use two bolts on each side which make assemble easy enough, it just doesn't hold as securely as I would like nor does it allow for much adjustability. I would really like to be able to lower the headboard another inch or so and find a way take some of the wobble out, not that it moves a lot, i would just like a more solid connection.

I ordered the silver headboard but when it arrived the color looks NOTHING like the color in the picture. Thank goodness it's for a guest bedroom so I can still work with it, but very disappointed in the color. It looks more like the Lapiz color. In fact, I'm not sure I received the correct one, but the packing slip states Shantung Silver.

when I took it out of the packaging it has a chemical smell. right now i am waiting for the smell to go away before i hook it up to my bed. it looks nice but doesn't smell so nice. if there is a way to get the smell to go away please let me know.
