Sunbrella fabric is water-repellant. If kept dry, it will not support the growth of mildew as natural fiber will. Depending on depth of color, Sunbrella fabrics provide up to 98% UV protection. Whites and lighter colored fabrics provide less protection than darker fabrics. This protective factor is inherent to the product and will not diminish through use or exposure to the sun.

I have a very small patio with a small patch of grass and 1 tree. I have attached it to the tree and put in another support. It is a bit big for the area but so wonderful to relax on.
