I got this for around $75... cheap, right? I didn't know what to expect from heaters like this, so I opted to "dip my toe in" with this purchase.
This is a 1500 Watt unit, but does not have the "bells and whistles" like digital thermostat and remote control. Both of these would be very useful, but did I say this was cheap?
I love the "moist heat" this puts out... I don't know how it does it, but the room feels warm, but not dry. I'm hooked.
But be warned... you will have to learn by trial and error where to set your preferred temperature via the wheel temperature "selector", as there are no other indications. I will use a marker so I know the general area the wheel needs to be for my preferred temperature.

So, I just received mine today and was excited to open and have it working since I have been freezing in my 60 degree room. Well, when it does turn on, it runs for no longer than a minute, shuts off, and turns back on in about 30 seconds to run again for about 1 minute and continues to cycle like this over and over again. This is on the 1000W setting. On the 1500W setting, the light on the switch won't even light up as bright as when the 1000W switch is turned to on. I can't get the heater to run longer than 30 seconds on the 1500W setting at about 3 on the dial. If I go any higher than the 3, it just doesn't work at all. So far, I have yet to get to work longer than a minute at a time. Now, what do I do with this heater that I spent money on hoping it would keep me warm......

Two power settings, 1500W & 1000W, thumb wheel adjustable temp., small footprint and quite (compared to others), has a clean look. If you don't need or want all the electronic controls, displays, etc, then this is the heater for you!

my company sets up temporary shelters that are about 600 sqft a piece. these heaters are great to heat that space with an easy power hook up.
