Comments about Uncle Jim's Super Reds European Night Crawlers:

The Night Crawlers arrived much faster than I thought and they were all alive. I am very impressed with everything being just as I expected and was told. I have the Worm Factory 360 all ready for them. so they didn't have to wait for their new home. It was all so very easy and the directions were very easy to follow and understand. I did peek under the paper to see if they were okay the very next day instead of the 2 or 3 days and they were all happy and eating the veggies I put in. I did chop up the veggies so the process goes faster and today I added more food and I'm very pleased with my purchase and also really loved being able to purchase something made in the USA!(the Worm Factory) Thanks for such a lively and hungry family of worms and the Worm Factory 360...I love that as well. I did not purchase the worms to fish with them. I am using them to make worm compost for my veggie garden. Eileen

Comments about Uncle Jim's Super Reds European Night Crawlers:

I ordered worms to start the compost bins I bought earlier this year. Worms came quickly in great shape. I know 250 sounds like alot, but it didn't seem like that much when they arrived, then again, I'm a beginner.

Really pleased with my products from Hayneedle. Service is good. They have their act together.

            Regards.

            Pamela

Comments about Uncle Jim's Super Reds European Night Crawlers:

Besides being put alive in a mailbox that was probably uncomfortable for them (no fault of Uncle Jim's the box said "live" on it) they were some very healthy looking worms. Haven't wanted to use any for fishing until the population increases but will eventually use mass amounts I'm sure.

                    Customer Q & A

                    1 Question About This Product
Q: "I ordered worms from you and they have arrived before my composter. What should I do with the worms until I get the compost bin?
A: The worms can last up to ten days in the packaging they arrived in. (Not the best, but they will last) Give them some water when they arrive.

If you're afraid they won't make it, you can make a temporary home for them instead. Put the worms into a plastic container about the size of a shoe box or bucket. Put some shredded black and white newsprint in the bottom that has been moistened (about the amount of a rung out sponge). This will act as food and bedding until your compost bin arrives and they can be placed into their new permanent home.
