Warm yourself up when spending time outside by adding this lovely granite topped propane fire pit to your deck or patio. This fire pit combines form and function as the wicker-look body easily blends in with most traditional outdoor furniture. The pit area consists of a porcelain-coated fire bowl made of steel to contain the flames from the 40,000 BTU cast-iron burner. Lava rocks and artificial logs are included to give the appearance of a natural fire, and the fire bowl is surrounded by a granite tabletop that's large enough to hold bowls or glasses far enough away from the pit to avoid burning.

It's fueled by a standard 20 lb. propane tank (not included), conveniently hidden below on an easy slide-out drawer. The removable wicker sides make a relaxed outdoor vibe and make it easy to move, clean, or access the gas lines. Your guests will never expect a warming fire to come from the middle of the table, but they'll be thrilled it did. Not recommended for use on wooden surfaces.

My husband put our fire pit within two hours, with little effort. The fire pit looked exactly as advertised, LOVE IT! We have put it on our deck and it really compliments our sitting area, must say it gave off a good amount of heat and the ability to adjust the flame is a great feature. The wicker panels give it a nice finish, and the granite is the "icing on the cake". Another plus to this fire pit is the cover which is included, many other companies did not include cover, and with such a nice fire pit the cover will only help to keep it looking brand new.
As we have only had our fire pit a few days, my only complaint would be that the one door to the propane tank is slightly higher than the other.
I was a bit anxious about ordering via the computer, and must say I highly recommend this fire pit, it really exceeded my expectations.

We ordered the firepit and when it arrived the box it came in was mangled. Opened it up and the granite was cracked. We called the company to let them know so we could get a new one sent but had to actually purchase a new so they could send. It just arrived a day ago and it was broken as well. The delivery driver indicated that the company Hayneedle uses to ship seems to not handle with care so most items are damaged. We now have paid for two firepits and have none. The representative from the company tried to get me to buy a third firepit and have it delivered. Unless they start to use a different shipping company I will NEVER purchase from them again. Good luck if anyone else decides to go with them.

This table is every bit as attractive as we had hoped when we ordered it. The table arrived with a small chip out of the granite top that we deemed acceptable. There are a lot of screws involved in the assembly but we found that by following the step by step instructions we had no problem with assembling the table. It took about an hour to assemble. Wneh we first fired it up, we were concerned that there was too little heat from the gas burner. After about five minutes, the heat output was quite acceptable. We are very happy with our purchase.
